We view our work as a collaborative art endeavor that starts and ends with you.
We believe that creation in its essence brings joy, and we want to share that joy with every collaborator. The process of creation begins in connection, beyond the computer screen and the print shop. Every project starts with a consult call, where we build the foundation of our visual direction through listening deeply, delving into your vision, and learning your story. We’ll take you along the journey as we design, letting you in on our visual references, and demonstrating the roads we took to arrive at a place that authentically represents you.
Time and time again we’ve found that the core of creative work comes down to storytelling. We revel in being faithful messengers to the stories you hold.
We‘re grateful to be a part of the wedding industry: this unique community of women-led, diverse small businesses. We take the opportunity with every project to continuously reinvest in that community.
It is a priority to keep production local. We invest in vetted USA-based family-owned vendors for our wholesale materials as well as printing. We depend on small artists for our handmade materials like hand-dyed silk and handmade paper, and relish in the opportunity to support slow and small-scale production. Whenever possible, we keep processes in-house: printing, cutting, painting, hand-illustration and calligraphy.
In an industry in celebration of love and meaningful relationships, we want to take initiative in nurturing collaboration and connection in our pocket of the world.
The work we create becomes a part of our clients’ love story forever. We take this privilege seriously.
Our work provides essential definition to a core life event that will be revisited and cherished in countless future seasons. Every act of creation sets out to honor the symbolism of joyful union and each couple’s unique love story.
At Studio XIXI we take responsibility for numerous touch-points of your loved ones. Our clientele extends beyond our direct commissioners: we consider ourselves in service to each and every guest who has joined you in celebration. We embrace this responsibility to produce work of the highest quality for every deliverable.
Going the extra mile is how we demonstrate our dedication. It lays the foundation of trust with our clients and reinforces our reputation for excellence.
As ardent students of art history, we’re invigorated by the ways art has been a source of beauty and joy for centuries. We’re constantly studying how art embodies timeless experiences that are as relevant and vivid today as they were centuries ago. Our forever inspirations: old masters of the Renaissance; vibrant asian textiles; native practices and techniques passed down through generations; every old object.
At the same time, we believe in serendipitous design that springs from our current world—from the objects we encounter in the spaces we live in, to the rich works of modern artists being created, shared, and experienced. We live in an era of endless inspiration, and it is our joy to sift through the overflowing stream of beauty to hone your story.
It is through this practice that we’re constantly learning; taking in new sights and stories, and growing as artists.
We firmly believe that the core essence of our work—the privilege of celebration, telling and receiving stories in tangible form, the delight of joyous announcements—should be available to all. In line with this belief, we are excited to soon introduce an à la carte collection of diverse, semi-custom goods. Each offering is infused with our distinctive charm and can be extensively personalized, so you can select and curate elements at a fraction of the design cost of fully customized suites and collections. It is part of our efforts to ensure that the beauty and joy we create can be cherished by a broader audience.
À la carte options coming soon.
