Californian but not beachy; textural but not bohemian; coastal but not nautical. Nestled along the breathtaking coastline of Half Moon Bay, C & D's wedding was an ode to coastal elegance and understated sophistication. Timeless and refined, the paper goods were infused with a sense of effortlessness evocative of a sea breeze.
A textural element was incorporated in the form of a delicate vellum overlay, adding to the airy quality. Printed on the vellum was a hand-drawn illustration, to highlight their cliffside venue overlooking the sea. Additional textures were layered in, through hand-dyed silk ribbon in a dusty french blue, delicate flecks in earthy recycled paper, and the subtle impressions of letterpressed and blind embossed menus. Escort cards were adorned with pearly wax seals, echoing lustrous bridal details in C’s pearl drop earrings and glazed nails.
